First time at a Durga Puja?

Everyone is welcome; entry is usually free. Remove shoes near the altar, accept prasad with your right hand, and dress Indian or smart-casual. Bhog is the shared meal; anjali is the flower offering; dhunuchi is the incense dance and sindoor khela happens on Dashami.

Enjoy Bengali Pujo food

Several pujas serve free bhog or prasad: London Sharad Utsav (twice daily), Probashi Hounslow, BCAUK, Wimbledon Cultural Association lunches and dinners.

Look for kathi rolls, Kolkata-style biryani, puchka, Mughlai parota, fish finger, fish fry, bhetki, ilish and bhapa ilish, then finish with roshogolla and mishti doi. Availability varies by venue and city.

Add your city's puja

We add pujas after checking them. Email hello@addabaithak.com with the city, puja name, venue, dates and official website.

Dates, venues and entry rules can change; confirm with the organiser before you travel.
