Metro first
Use Metro for cross-city transfers, then walk or take a short local ride outside the barricaded area. Build extra time for station exits and queues.
Parking
Do not rely on parking beside a major pandal. Arrange pickup points on a main road and never block a one-way exit.
Use a compact circuit
Choose one zone per outing: North, South or Central. A shorter route is safer and more enjoyable than trying to cross Kolkata during the evening surge.
